Financing of inland water ways not to be cut in 2015, RF Transport Ministry says
Financing of inland water ways will not be cut in 2015, Deputy Transport Minister of Russia Victor Olersky told journalists when answering the question of IAA PortNews behind the scenes of the extended meeting of Rosmorrechflot’s Board.
He noted though that the increase of financing can hardly be expected.
When commenting on the financing of the inland water ways according to new norms approved by RF Government, the official promised that in its talks with the Ministry of Finance the Ministry of Transport would lay emphasis on target-focused increase of financing for the priority sectors.
Initially, financing of inland water ways under new maintenance norms was supposed to reach 100% by 2018.
