    Российская Федерация может денонсировать договор с Украиной о сотрудничестве в использовании Азовского моря и Керченского пролива, подписанного в г. Керчь 24 декабря 2003 года.

    Распоряжением президента России Владимира Путина №154-рп от 24 мая 2023 года заместитель министра иностранных дел РФ Михаил Галузин назначен официальным представителем президента РФ при рассмотрении палатами Федерального собрания вопроса о денонсации договора. Документ размещен на официальном портале правовых актов.

    Договор между РФ и Украиной о сотрудничестве в использовании Азовского моря и Керченского пролива был подписан в Керчи 24 декабря 2003 года Владимиром Путиным и Леонидом Кучмой. Согласно документу, торговые суда и военные корабли, а также другие государственные суда под флагом Российской Федерации или Украины, эксплуатируемые в некоммерческих целях, пользуются в Азовском море и Керченском проливе свободой судоходства.

    Напомним, Владимир Путин в ходе послания Федеральному Собранию 21 февраля 2023 года призвал возродить порты в северной и северо-западной части Азовского моря. «Мы уже начали и будем наращивать масштабную программу социально-экономического восстановления и развития новых субъектов Федерации. Речь, в том числе, о том, чтобы возродить предприятия и рабочие места, порты Азовского моря, которое вновь стало внутренним морем России...», — сказал президент.
