    Морские контейнерные перевозки в мире в 2023 году могут снизиться на 2,5% — прогноз

    Падение ставок фрахта прогнозируется до уровней, предшествовавших пандемии

    Морские контейнерные перевозки в мире в 2023 году могут снизиться на 2,5%. Такой прогноз сделала консалтинговая компания Xeneta (Швеция). По мнению аналитиков, ставки «значительно» снизятся, а слабый спрос приведет к увеличению простоя судов.

    После подъема до исторических максимумов во время глобальной пандемии ставки морских перевозок с лета упали, а в случае спотовых ставок — резко. Результатом этого является избыток тоннажа, что приводит к увеличению простоя. Xeneta прогнозирует простаивание до 1 млн TEU.

    «Мы ожидаем увидеть значительные сокращения. Перевозчики доказали свою способность защищать и повышать тарифы во время COVID, но из-за слишком большой пропускной способности и уменьшения загруженности портов на большинстве основных торговых путей в 2023 году они будут вести проигрышные бои. Мы можем увидеть, что спотовые ставки по некоторым ключевым коридорам упадут ниже уровней, существовавших до пандемии, в течение первой половины 2023 года, в то время как долгосрочные ставки будут быстро падать по мере истечения срока действия старых, дорогостоящих контрактов и подписания новых, гораздо более низких контрактов. Однако долгосрочные ставки не упадут ниже спотовых ставок в течение первой половины 2023 года», — говорится в отчете.
