Navy vessels parade’s rehearsal takes place in St. Petersburg


The final rehearsal of the Main Naval Parade slated to be held on Russia’s Navy Day celebrations (Sunday, July 29, 2018) in St. Petersburg, tool place on July 26.

During the rehearsal, three bridges Blagoveshchensky, Dvortsovy and Troitsky across the Neva were raised.

The rehearsal took place in the historical part of St. Petersburg and Kronstadt. It involved more than 40 combat ships of the main classes, boats and vessels of the Russian Navy of the Baltic, Northern, Black Sea Fleets and the Caspian Flotilla,.

The Russia’s Navy Day celebrations will be held in St.Petersburg and in ten Russian cities, including Sevastopol, Astrakhan, Novorossiysk and Vladivostok with more than 100 ships to take part in all ceremonial events.
